This is a kit that has been long in development with several evolutions. The Optima Baron has a unique chainline that requires three side to side floating idlers to make the stock chainline be as good as it can be. We finally came up with the right combination of idlers and other support hardware to make it possible to get the most performance out this complex chainline that keeps the chain off of your fork and tire for greater steering maneuverability. The heart of the kit is our cogged power idler to transfer more of your pedalling power to the rear wheel. The power chain is further controlled by a length of the stock chaintube that is held in a custom self adjusting bracket that allows the chaintube to move as you change gears. This custom bracket, which replaces the stock mount in front of the seat also holds a floating return idler. The second return idler above the fork has an additional bracket to keep the larger diameter idler clear of your fork. This is as clean a package as we have developed for such a complex chain system.
