Drop off your recycling in store
To participate, bring your used contact lenses, eye care, and lens care materials to official ONE by ONE eye care practice recycling locations. Make sure your items are empty and dry. Subject to availability.
Each participating eye care practice collects the materials in a custom recycling bin provided by Bausch + Lomb. Once the bin is filled, the eye care practice ships the materials to TerraCycle to be properly recycled.
Due to their small size and the type of plastic, these materials aren’t accepted in local recycling facilities and may inadvertently end up in landfills or waterways. Participating in this program helps ensure these materials are properly recycled and do not end up in our environment.
Supporting Sight, One Pound at a Time. For every qualifying shipment from an eye care practice of 10 pounds or more from a registered ONE by ONE Recycling Program practice, a $1 per pound donation is made to Optometry Giving Sight —a global initiative dedicated to reducing unnecessary blindness and vision impairment.

The locator map available on terracycle.com/bauschrecycles allows you to search your area for participating eye care offices.
The outside paperboard/cardboard packaging for all these products, as well as full-sized multi-purpose solution bottles, should be placed in curbside recycling since they are large enough and made of materials accepted in local recycling facilities. Due to their small size, multipurpose solution bottle caps are prone to falling off during sorting, which is why they are included in our program.
No, you do not need to clean the packaging before dropping it off, but please remove as much of the remaining product as possible. The materials should be dry and not wet.
Bausch + Lomb has sponsored this free recycling program, so there is no direct cost to you.
The Bausch + Lomb ONE by ONE Recycling Program accepts used contact lenses and packaging – including blister packs and top foils – from all brands. It also recycles all brands of single-dose vials and their foil wrappings, full-size contact lens solution caps, small-size solution bottles and caps, as well as contact lens cases. Additionally, used eye drop bottles and caps from Bausch + Lomb brands, including Biotrue®, Blink®, and LUMIFY®, are accepted, along with LUMIFY® Preservative Free Redness Reliever plastic traps and paperboard sleeves and Biotrue® Micellar Eyelid Cleansing Wipes and their foil wrapping.
