Every year, billions of drink pouches end up in dumpsters and landfills across America. TerraCycle®, Capri Sun®, and Honest Kids® are working together to put an end to this enormous loss of resources. As an eco-friendly innovator, TerraCycle converts the drink pouch material into innovative products from tote bags and pencil cases to plastic lumber and pavers! The Drink Pouch Brigade allows schools, non-profit organizations, or individuals to save drink pouches from taking up space in landfills.

Units per Drink Pouch Brigade shipment are calculated based upon weight. Drink pouches will be counted based upon a an average weight of .009 lbs. per drink pouch. The rewards for shipments through the Drink Pouch Brigade are as follows:
0 to 1,000 pouches per shipment: 0 points per pouch
1,001 to 2,000 pouches per shipment: 1 point per pouch (or $0.01 per pouch)
2,001 to 5,000 pouches per shipment: 2 points per pouch (or $0.02 per pouch)
5,001+ pouches per shipment: 3 points per pouch (or $0.03 per pouch)
Once you have joined the Drink Pouch Brigade, simply follow the steps below to receive your TerraCycle points:
- Collect enough approved drink pouches to fill up a box or bag (approved waste is listed below). Remember to reuse a shipping box or bag and use eco-friendly padding. Please note, you will need to send shipments that contain at least 1,001 drink pouches (or about 13 lbs) in order to receive the TerraCycle point donation.
- Download a free shipping label from terracycle.com. To acquire a pre-paid label, simply access your TerraCycle account online, and click “SHIP US YOUR WASTE.” You can print them out yourself or request that TerraCycle send the label.
- Ship the box to TerraCycle by affixing the pre-paid postage label and dropping it off at a UPS location.
