How it works

Participating is completely free and very easy.

What you can recycle in this program

Program accepted waste: Bear Naked granola bags and Bear Naked granola bites bags

Best practices for recycling

In order to recycle this waste stream properly, please make sure all excess product has been removed (i.e. leftover granola). Additionally, if you choose to rinse your product, please note that it must be completely dry prior to shipping. You cannot ship dripping packages.

What happens to the waste

Once collected, the wrappers and bags are cleaned and melted into plastic pellets that can be remolded to make new recycled products. Click here to learn more about the recycling process.
