Did you know that only one-third of the beverage containers in the United States are recycled? That means that two-thirds often wind up as litter, on our roads and in our oceans and waterways.
TerraCycle® is proud to partner with PepsiCo® and its partners Waste Management®, Greenopolis® and Keep America Beautiful®, to bring the Dream Machine Recycle Rally; to your school. Together, we’ll be able to capture the non-alcoholic plastic bottles and aluminum cans that would otherwise wind up in the trash, and help keep our Earth green.
Through the Dream Machine Recycle Rally, schools will earn one Recycle Rally point for every one non-alcoholic beverage container (plastic bottle or aluminum can) scanned and recycled. When 100 Recycle Rallypoints are accumulated, they can be redeemed by the school at www.greenopolis.com for rewards with local businesses and national retailers, such as sporting goods, electronics, gift cards, educational events, and music, books and videos - and new rewards are being added to the program all the time!
For all the bottles and cans recycled through the Dream Machine Recycle Rally, PepsiCo will make a donation to the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities, a national program that offers free education in entrepreneurship and small business management to post-9/11 veterans with disabilities, so that our nation’s heroes can make their own dreams come true.
