Recycle all baby food pouches through this program.
TerraCycle® and Ella’s Kitchen® baby food are working together on a recycling program for pouches and caps, as well as a fundraising opportunity for participants.
Starting August 1, 2016, the TerraCycle point donation will be rewarded only for shipments weighing over 5 lbs.
By encouraging larger shipments through this program, we can help reduce fuel costs and create an even smaller environmental footprint. It's just one more way we can join together to make this program even more beneficial for our planet.
Participating is completely free and very easy.
Program accepted waste: Baby and toddler food pouches and caps
Note: Ella’s Kitchen TetraPak containers are not accepted in this program. If you would like to learn how you can recycle Ella’s Kitchen TetraPak containers, please click here.
In order to recycle this waste stream properly, please make sure all excess product has been removed (i.e. leftover baby food). Additionally, if you choose to rinse your product, please note that it must be completely dry prior to shipping. You cannot ship dripping packages.
Once collected, the pouches and caps are cleaned and extruded into new polymers that will be remolded to make recycled products. Click here to learn more about the recycling process.
TerraCycle points can be redeemed for a variety of charitable gifts, product bundles, or a payment of $0.01 per point to the non-profit organization or school of your choice. To learn more about our points program, click here.
