How it works

Participating is completely free and very easy.

What you can recycle in this program

Program accepted waste: Family-size snack bags, individual snack bags, and multipack snack bags

Best practices for recycling

In order to recycle this waste stream properly, please make sure all excess product has been removed (i.e. leftover chips). Additionally, if you choose to rinse your product, please note that it must be completely dry prior to shipping. You cannot ship dripping packages.

What happens to the waste

Once collected, the snack bags are cleaned and melted into hard plastic that can be remolded to make new recycled products. Click here to learn more about the recycling process.
