Staples Instore Binder Collection

As the first day of school approaches, it’s time to start thinking about back-to-school supplies. This year, you can make your back-to-school shopping eco-friendly by bringing your empty, used binders to a Staples store near you!

Staples, the Office Superstore, is launching the first retail-based collection program for binders during the back-to-school period of 2012. Operated in conjunction with Avery®, the binder collection program, or Binder Brigade, will be running in stores from July 8th through August 31st.

To participate, simply bring in your old (and empty) binder to any Staples store location. A store clerk will then give you a $2 off coupon that you can put toward the purchase of a new binder. By bringing in your old binders to Staples stores, you are keeping theses binders out of the trash, and ultimately out of landfills. Every binder that we collect through this program will be recycled and transformed into a new and useful product.
