Account Management Internship:
Join the Account Management team and help our brand partners (Kraft Cheese, Capri-Sun, Frito-Lay, to name a few) increase their sustainability initiatives while developing your business management skills. Interns will assist Account Managers with developing materials to be shared with our brand partners, utilizing research, analytics, creative, written and communication skills. These materials will be used as tools to increase the success of TerraCycle’s collection programs. You will be able to take part in diverse projects that will allow collaboration with multiple departments within TerraCycle, including Operations, Design, Research and Development, and Graphics.
Nuts and Bolts
The internship is located at our graffiti-covered global headquarters in Trenton, NJ. Interns will be asked to bring their own laptop computer to the office, but printing facilities and general office supplies will be provided. The preferred duration of the internship is from May 27th to August 30th with an expected minimum of 20 hours per week. However, each internship can be customized, and the duration can vary on a case to case basis. Though, students seeking college credit must adhere to their educational institution’s internship requirements.
Although the internship is unpaid, we provide a bountiful lunch every day, a well-organized education experience with interdepartmental lectures so that you can learn about all aspects of TerraCycle’s operations and business management in general, regular intern events and company parties. In the previous year, TerraCycle had over 100 interns from top colleges, law schools and business schools. It’s a dynamic and highly charged entrepreneurial environment. TerraCycle will offer college credit and recommendations upon successful completion of the internship. Due to the company’s eco-focus, some schools, including Princeton, provide a stipend for their students to work at TerraCycle, so please check with your school if they can provide support.
