If you are an undergraduate, MBA/graduate student or a recent graduate with a strong interest in green business, eco-capitalism, upcycling, recycling or social entrepreneurship, TerraCycle offers a unique opportunity for incredible growth, and innovative work. We are looking for people who are dependable, enthusiastic, and professional to join us.
As a rapidly growing company with expanding logistics, TerraCycle’s IT department is looking for motivated interns looking to gain hands on experience. Candidates will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, covering a broad scope of IT tasks and responsibilities. You'll work with a great degree of independence and your contribution will have a real and practical impact on the great work that TerraCycle does. You'll also have the chance to move between these various projects and roles:
Often overlooked by traditional IT education, the importance of project and resource management is a vital part of a long term career in technology. At TerraCycle we'll give interns the opportunity to see the "back end" of IT.
Thousands of people visit TerraCycle's websites on a daily basis; returning visitors, potential new users, business partners and media. As the scope of the website continually changes and new functionality is added, it's vital that extensive testing is conducted to ensure that everything is working before it becomes public facing. You'll work on bug reports, work with the Brigades and Customer Service departments to solve identify issues, and provide clear and concise feedback for issue resolution.
TerraCycle is a fast growing company with an increasingly global scope. The main office recently replaced its traditional telecommunications environment with an Asterisk based phone system, which now needs to be rolled out to offices world wide.
Everyone's least favorite part of IT. Yet, a good manager can use desktop support to assess user satisfaction, identify problems or define new projects. Every call provides the opportunity to please the user and grow the department.
