Production Project Manager

The Production Project Manager is responsible for the management of production-related projects, related to upcycled and recycled products for TerraCycle including product development, costing, sourcing, marketing, sales quotes and all aspects of manufacturing.

The Production Project Manager will be expected to be involved with:

  • Development and manufacturing of products made from waste to support the TerraCycle Brigade Programs including sewn products, laminated hard goods and extruded/molded plastic products.
  • Managing the production process internally and externally from product development and costing to order manufacturing and delivery.
  • Effectively coordinating all communication and project management for each order.
  • Managing all suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Delivering products on time, price and quality.
  • Managing inventory of raw materials and components.
  • Completing production transactions in the TerraCycle SAP System including Bills of Material, Production Orders, Sales Quotes, Sales and Purchase Orders.
  • Development of internal and external catalogs for all products.

  • The Production Project Manager reports directly to the Director of US Operations.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally op action plans for solutions.
  • Ability to adapt quickly.
  • Desire and patience to constantly improve every area of responsibility while completing the task at hand.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Cost sheets, Bills of material and other production documents.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft office software and knowledge of inventory and order processing systems.
  • Compensation:

    - Salary range $35,000 - $40,000, dependent upon qualifications. - Generous paid vacation, employer subsidized health plan, and 401K with company match.
