If your Flip-Flop Swap collection drive brings in the most collections, TerraCycle will reward you with 100,000 points!
What is the Flip-Flop Swap?
The Flip-Flop Swap is a contest between all registered flip-flop collectors from September 1st through November 30th. Follow the steps below to register your collection drive with TerraCycle and start collecting.
Be the top drive and TerraCycle will reward you with 100,000 points. TerraCycle will even help you promote your drive and provide you with great incentives to encourage collections so you can win!

How do I participate?
Follow these simple steps to start collecting for the Flip-Flop Swap.
- Set up a collection drive for flip-flops in your community.
- Register your drive with TerraCycle.
- Send pictures and show us how you organized a flip-flop drive. Simply send photos of your drive to contest@terracycle.com and you could be featured in the TerraCycle newsletter.

After you’ve registered your flip-flop drive, TerraCycle will contact you shortly to confirm your information and to provide you with the following:
- Additional Old Navy coupons that you will use to “swap” with your participant’s old flip-flops. They give you their flip-flops, and you give them a coupon.
- Press release templates for you to customize and send to your local media.
- Awareness of your location with eblasts to TerraCycle collectors in your region.
- Promotion of your public drive in the Flip-Flop Swap collection drive locator on the TerraCycle website. People will be able to see your drive on the map and even get directions.
What are the prizes?
TerraCycle will reward the highest collecting flip-flop drive. The grand prize winner will receive a TerraCycle Prize Pack that includes the following:
- 100,000 TerraCycle points
- 10 Old Navy coupons redeemable for free flip-flops at Old Navy locations
- Upcycled TerraCycle products (this can include totes, lunch sacks, and/or notebooks)
All eligible participating locations are subject to the Flip-Flop Swap Rules.
