The TerraCycle Curriculum Series, by The Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education
In nature, there is no such thing as “waste,” but as Americans, we produce tons of it— nearly 220 million tons per year! The TerraCycle Curriculum Series, developed by The Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education, focuses on how we can solve this problem.
Released three times a year, the TerraCycle Curriculum Lesson Sets each focus on a particular topic and its relationship to the materials cycle. In four grade-appropriate lessons (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12), each set includes tailored lessons that have been aligned to The Cloud Institute’s Education for Sustainability (EfS) Standards, and that meet the McRel National Standards and Common Core State Standards.
