Our office headquarters, located in Trenton, NJ, showcases works from upcycled designers all over the world. When you walk in our front doors, you’re greeted by our friendly staff and our showroom full of upcycled designs. The floor itself is carpeted in used turf from a nearby soccer field. The tables, chairs, and decor are created from anything we could get our hands on which includes fire extinguishers, scrap wood, wine barrels, shampoo bottle, vintage couches and mirrors, and much much more. As long as it’s upcycled, anything goes at TerraCycle.
Do you UpCycle your waste into innovative products? We would love to add your work to our TerraCycle Upcycle Museum. Each upcycled design we receive will be properly displayed in the TerraCycle office, and we’ll even place a plaque next to your work.
Submission Criteria
- The piece must be made from at least 50% upcycled content.
- All original designs are accepted, such as; light fixtures, furniture, jewelry, wearable garment, fashion accessory, or art piece.
To submit your upcycled work of art, please submit the following to design@teams.terracycle.net
Image of item in a standard jpg or PDF format that is less than 1MB in size, description of item that includes your contact information, year that the piece was created, the waste used to create the piece, and a brief description of the piece.
You will be notified approximately one month after your submission if your work is selected to be on display.
TerraCycle will Provide
A plaque on display with the piece giving credit to the designer and shipping costs to the TerraCycle offices.
Thousands of people pass through the TerraCycle UpCycle Museum annually. These visitors vary from members of the press to other Influential members in the upcycled world of design. Being featured in the TerraCycle UpCycle Museum is a great way to get your work noticed and spread the word about upcycling.
