Please visit to learn more about our partnership with Bausch + Lomb. If you click the “JOIN PROGRAM FOR FREE" button on this page, you will be able to download free shipping labels from your account.

If you are an eye care professional, we encourage you to sign up for the Bausch + Lomb  recycling program. By signing up, you can download free shipping labels to send used contact lenses and blister packs for recycling.

In addition, you can be listed as a drop off location for contact lenses recycling – your office or store will be added to a locator map on which allows consumers to search their location to find an eye-care office that is collecting contact lenses and blister packs for recycling.

When you are ready to send in a shipment, click "REQUEST A POSTAGE LABEL”. Select the "Send Me a Postage Label" option and TerraCycle will email an Australia Post pre-paid return label to you. Print the pre-paid label and affix it to any used box or bag and bring it to a local Australia Post Office.

No. You may send in any size shipment up to 20 kilograms through this recycling programme. However, you must send in at least 1 kilogram of accepted waste to earn the TerraCycle points for a donation to Optometry Giving Sight. Units per shipment are calculated based upon weight. Contact lenses and blister packs will be counted based upon an average weight of 2.72 kgs per piece of waste.

Nope! You will be able to request pre-paid Australia Post shipping labels from our website through your online account. This will bring your contact lenses and blister packs collections back to our factory to be recycled into other TerraCycle products! You win, we win, and the environment wins!

While consumers will not earn their own TerraCycle points through the Bausch + Lomb Recycling Programme, $1 will be donated to Optometry Giving Sight for every 1kg of contact lenses and blister packs collected through the program.

Optometry Giving Sight is an international non-profit organisation that is working to prevent blindness and impaired vision for those who do not have access to eye exams and glasses/contact lenses. For more info, visit:
