This program has strict shipping guidelines due to the transportation of batteries. How it works

We’ve made getting started with the Colgate Electric Toothbrush Free Recycling Program easy! Simply download a free shipping label to ship your electric toothbrushes to TerraCycle, and we’ll recycle them.

Collect

Create a TerraCycle account and join this program. Then reuse any box you have to start collecting your electric toothbrushes.

Print Free Label

When your box is full, sign-in to your TerraCycle account to download and print a prepaid shipping label. You will also be required to print a battery hazard label, available in the resources section of this page.

Ship

Seal your box, affix the prepaid shipping label and battery hazard label, and send it to us to be recycled.

No, you do not need to clean the items before shipping them to TerraCycle for recycling, but Australia Post will not accept dripping items, so please make sure your items are dry.

We encourage you to ship multiple items at once to minimise the footprint of this program. Australia Post will not accept packaging weighing over 20kg or any dripping packages, so please make sure your items are dry.

Earn TerraCycle points by recycling with us! You can redeem your points in the form of a donation to a school, charity, or nonprofit of your choice. Send in your recycling to earn reward points. Shipments earn 100 points ($1) per kilogram. To earn reward points, your shipment must weigh at least 1kg.

TerraCycle points can be redeemed for a donation of $1.00 per 100 points to the charitable organisation or school of your choice.
