How it works

Return your empty Kiehl's products to participating Kiehl's locations for recycling - you'll receive some complimentary goodies in return! Kiehl's will then send the empty packaging to TerraCycle to be recycled.

What you can recycle in this program

All empty Kiehl's products are accepted for recycling, including:

- Plastic bottles (including pump and spray closures)
- Glass bottles (including dropper closures and caps)
- Plastic tubes and containers (including caps and lids)
- Sachets and masks foil packaging

All packaging should be as empty as possible before being brought in-store for recycling. Please note that while Kiehl's packaging is accepted, only full sized products are eligible for the reward offer.

What happens to the waste

Once collected, the Kiehl's packaging is sorted, cleaned and melted into pellets that can be remoulded to make new recycled products. Click here for more information about our recycling process.

Rewards

As a thank-you, when you return your Kiehl's empties in-store, you'll receive some complimentary gifts!
