What are the guidelines for shipping my recycling to TerraCycle?

Aerosols must be shipped through the Living proof® Aerosol Free Recycling Program; labels from other TerraCycle programs must not be used to ship these items. Other products or packaging cannot be included in the box. Individual aerosol containers cannot exceed one (1) liter in volume. Aerosol containers must be empty and have lids, tops, or caps attached when shipped. Aerosols without lids will not be accepted. Aerosols must be shipped in strong, preferably double-walled, cardboard boxes. Boxes must be in good condition. The maximum weight of a single filled box is 15 pounds. The maximum box dimension is 24 inches x 24 inches x 18 inches. Boxes containing aerosols must have a “limited quantity marking” sticker included on the exterior of the shipping box along with the shipping label. This sticker can be downloaded by clicking here.

How it works

Create a TerraCycle account and join this program. Then reuse any box you have to start collecting your Living proof® containers.

Print Free Label

When your box is full, sign in to your TerraCycle account to download and print a prepaid shipping label. You will also need to print the limited quantity marking sticker.

Ship

Follow the special shipping requirements above. Then seal your box, affix the prepaid shipping label and limited quantity marking sticker, and send it to us to be recycled.

No, you do not need to clean the packaging before sending it in, but please remove as much of the remaining product as possible before shipping.
