Recycling with TerraCycle® & Tweed
Every year, billions of pieces of used packaging end up in dumpsters and landfills across Canada. The waste collected through this program is recycled into a variety of recycled products and is given a second life.

How it works
This is a confirmation-based recycling program for licensed producers. After you request to join, we will review your request and get back to you.
What you can recycle
This program accepts all Canopy Growth produced vape products purchased from a licensed producer. This includes cartridges and batteries of the following brands:
- JUJU Joints™ and JUJU Power™ batteries
- 510 cartridges in the following brands: Tweed, LBS, Van der Pop, Twd.
- Tokyo Smoke™ Luma cartridges and batteries
Please note: This program does not accept cannabis packaging. Please use the Cannabis Packaging Retailer Recycling Program to recycle any and all cannabis packaging purchased from a licensed retailer including outer plastic packaging, inner plastic packaging, tins, joint tubes, plastic bottles, plastic caps, and flexible plastic bags.
Recycling guidelines
You do not need to clean the products and packaging before sending it to TerraCycle. However, please remove all of the remaining product before shipping. And please remember, UPS will not accept dripping packages, so make sure your products and packaging are dry prior to shipping.
What happens to your recyclables
Your collected products and packaging are dropped into specially marked Tweed | TerraCycle bin. Once the bin is full, it is picked up and transported to get cleaned and sorted. It is then processed and turned into plastic pellets and precious metals.
