How it works

TerraCycle Zero Waste Boxes allow you to recycle almost every type of waste. Simply follow the steps below to recycle your waste with us and make a positive impact on our planet.

What happens to your recyclables

The collected waste is mechanically and/or manually separated into fabrics, metals, fibers, and plastics. Fabrics are reused, upcycled or recycled as appropriate. Metals are melted so they may be recycled. The fibers (such as paper or wood based products) are recycled or composted. The plastics undergo extrusion and pelletization to be molded into new recycled plastic products

Accepted waste

Please send us any discarded plastic packaging, paper packaging, kitchen gear, baby gear, filters, cleaning accessories, coffee and tea accessories, party supplies and dining disposables, interior home furnishings, coffee discs, prescription drug packaging, and fabrics and clothing.

Please do NOT...

include organics, broken glass, bio-medical waste, soiled diapers, expired medication, pesticides, paint, pressurized canisters, and medical sharps in any of our boxes.
