Procurement and Logistics Executive, Loop Europe

We are looking for a Transport and Procurement Executive to join the European team. This new way to transport, warehouse and distribute products to shoppers will be the engine of a breakthrough innovation on sustainability, defining a new way of dealing with waste. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, pragmatic, problem-solving mind and ideally a first experience in Supply Chain. She/he will be able to define key priorities and find the right resources to support the operation team to launch loop.

Loop is the initiative that is bringing together the world’s largest consumer good companies, transportation companies, retailers as well as NGOs to provide durable/refillable packaging as a service to consumers across the world. LOOP have launched in Paris and New York City in May 2019 after a global announcement  at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in January 2019.

This position will be based in our London office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify suppliers and obtain quotes from vendors
  • Manage inventory without hindering production and track the value of this inventory
  • Procure products and consumables needed to operate the loop supply chain
  • Build and monitor transport plan between key partners (warehouse, cleaning partner, copacker, brands)
  • Coordinate delivery, reception and pick up with the partners
  • Execute financial payment with vendors
  • Help build budgets and anticipate cost for operations activity

Requirements/Skills:

  • English-speaking
  • Master’s Degree (or Bachelor degree or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or demand planning field (transportation, warehousing, inventory planning, customer-facing supply chain, e-commerce or manufacturing/operations performance) is preferred
  • Experience in CPG companies is preferred
  • Understanding of optimization tools and methodologies
  • Experience with excel and SAP appreciated
  • Ability to independently assess problems and develop action plans for solutions
  • Ability to adapt and work quickly

Compensation:

  • Salary depending on experience
  • 25 Paid Holiday Days
  • Company Pension contribution up to 3% of salary
