Project Manager Operations

TerraCycle is seeking a Project Manager who will join TerraCycle’s Operations Team to manage the execution of innovative and ambitious collection pilots.

Operating in 21 countries (including 11 in Europe), TerraCycle is a world leader in the recycling of generally non-recyclable waste, such as pens, snack wrappers, baby food pouches beauty product packaging, home care product packaging and even the likes of cigarette butts or marine plastics. We create collection and recycling solutions systems for anything that would otherwise be sent to incineration or landfill. We are partnered with some of the most recognizable brands and retailers in the world, including BIC, L’Oréal, Procter & Gamble and JDE amongst others.

TerraCycle has also partnered with SUEZ, one of the largest resource management companies in the world, to develop joint innovative and differentiating recycling solutions.

TerraCycle’s largest business units called “National Recycling Programmes” and “Zero Waste Boxes” enable end consumers and businesses to ship their waste back to TerraCycle for recycling in a convenient and traceable manner thanks to mail back services supported by national postal carriers or private parcel shipping companies.

Alongside these models, TerraCycle is regularly launching new innovative pilots across Europe, testing new collection models for different waste streams and locations types.

As an example, TerraCycle in partnership with Pampers (P&G) recently launched an innovative collection pilot in the city in Amsterdam in order to collect and recycle used nappies. TerraCycle designed 10 smart bins which are located at strategic locations including nurseries and retailers and manages all aspects of the project from the operations set up working with strategic logistics partners to the handling of customer service. See a short video on this project here:

TerraCycle is currently working on the launch of other innovative pilots, including an ambitious UK based pilot where TerraCycle will implement a dedicated logistics model to collect and recycle non-recycle waste packaging at a large number of retail locations.
