By recycling with us, you’ll not only help your university’s pledge for sustainability but also help your community keep their ‘hard-to-recycle’ rubbish from landfills. And at no cost to you!

To join a free recycling programme, visit the programme page and click ‘Join as a drop-off point’. You can join as many participating recycling programmes as you’d like! You can find them here.
Those programmes have been specifically chosen for you and are tailored for universities.
Yes, you can have multiple drop-off points at the same university (e.g. accommodations, lecture halls, student unions) under the same account.
Please note that the points will be calculated separately if you open multiple accounts.
For each valid shipment you send in through our free recycling programmes, you will get TerraCycle points that you can redeem for rewards.
You’ll also get a bonus of 500 TerraCycle points (£5) per shipment you send us.
To receive TerraCycle points, you must meet the minimum shipment requirements for the programme and only ship the accepted items. Each free recycling programme has different requirements that can be found under “Earn Recycling Rewards” on the programme page or in the participation guide.
No, we request that you send separate shipments for each recycling programme. Don’t mix the accepted items of different programmes!
Brands and retailers fund our free recycling programmes, so you pay nothing to participate. The brands specify which type of rubbish is accepted by their programmes.
TerraCycle points can be redeemed for a donation of £0.01 per point. Please note that you must redeem a minimum of 2,000 TerraCycle points (or £20).

We have two payment periods per year. If you redeem by the end of April, you will be paid in June. If you redeem by the end of October, you will be paid in January.
