This map is constantly being updated

View all participating public drop-off locations on the interactive map above.

A public drop-off location is a communal collection point where local people can take their TerraCycle waste. Each public drop-off location is listed on the interactive map above. When you drop-off your waste at a public drop-off location, the TerraCycle points earned for the waste are transferred to the account of the public drop-off location administrator in question, who can then donate the points to the charity of their choice.

Before you go to a public drop-off location with your waste, we advise you check the details (full address, opening hours and location of collection box at the site) and when a telephone number is listed its worth calling just to check they are still participating.

This map is updated when new public drop-off locations are added or removed, so we recommend you  consult it in advance of each time you plan to drop off your waste.

If you are interested in setting up a  public drop-off location for your community then please fill out this form.
You don't have to become a public drop-off location to send us your waste. You can become a private collector simply by joining the EllaCycle recycling programme.

How it works

There are 3 different ways to become an EllaCycler:

1) Drop off your baby food pouches at your nearest public drop-off location

Find your nearest public drop-off location on the interactive map above and drop off your baby food pouches and snack wrappers – all brands are accepted.

To learn more about public drop-off locations, please click here.

2) Set up a public drop-off location and champion the EllaCycle programme in your community

If there are no public drop-off locations near you, you can set up your own in a convenient location where you have the authorisation to do so. Simply follow the steps below:

  1. Create a TerraCycle® account
  2. Join the programme by clicking on "join programme for free" at the top of this page
  3. Fill out this form to finalise your request

To learn more about what public drop-off locations are and what it involves to set up one, please click here.

To request your EllaCycle collection box, tick the box in the form. Once the public drop-off point has been set up, the location will appear on the map

3) Collect privately

If there is no public drop-off location already in place where you live, or that you are not able to set up your own, then you have the option to sign up as a private collector by clicking on “join programme for free" on this page.

Once you are a member of the programme (either by setting up a public drop-off location or collecting privately) and when you are ready to send a shipment, please follow these steps:

  1. Download a free postage label from your account
  2. Print your label out
  3. Attach your label to your parcel
  4. Take your parcel to your local Post Office. To receive TerraCycle® points for your shipment (which you can then redeem for the charity), please ensure it weighs more than 5kg.

What you can recycle in this programme

Programme accepted waste: Any brand of baby food pouches and any brand of baby food pouch caps.

Please check out our Accepted Waste Poster below for more details.

Useful information for the collection of the waste

Make sure all excess product has been removed (i.e food residue) and place all baby food pouches and snack wrappers in a box, including the lids. Tape the box together securely ensuring there are no loose edges or corners. Print your label and attach it securely to the shipment.

What happens to this waste

Once collected, the baby food pouches and snack wrappers are cleaned and melted into hard plastic that can be remolded to make new recycled products. Click here to learn more about the recycling process.

TerraCycle® points are credited to the accounts of public drop-off location administrators and private collectors as a reward for their collection efforts. The number of points given is determined by the total weight of the shipment. 1 TerraCycle® point is worth 1 cent.

Once credited, the points can be redeemed into financial donations to the charity or school chosen by the owner of the points. The points must be redeemed on the TerraCycle® website.

Here is the reward this programme offers:

For example:

5 kilograms of baby food pouches = 0 TerraCycle® points

7 kilograms of baby food pouches = 1,555 TerraCycle® points

10 kilograms of baby food pouches = 2,222 TerraCycle® points

Please be aware, the weight of the cardboard box is not taken into account. TerraCycle® recommends public drop-off location administrators and private collectors to send more than the minimum weight to ensure points are awarded.
