If you have further questions about signing up or general questions about the programme please email [email protected] .

Please log into your account on the TerraCycle website. Select the “PROFILE” tab and then “COLLECTION PROGRAMMES“ and you will see a grey X to the right of each programme.

TerraCycle collects thousands of units of waste a day – in order to keep track of the waste we count all the shipments received using an average weight. We establish an average weight for each waste stream (baby food pouches, baby wipes packaging, coffee wrappers etc) collected through a free recycling programme – your account will be credited based on the weight of the package sent in and weighed at TerraCycle facilities, not on individually counted units.

The average unit weight for the EllaCycle is 9g. For each 9g of weight within your shipment you earn 2 TerraCycle points.

Each TerraCycle point can be redeemed for a payment of €0.01 to the Republic of Ireland based charity, nursery or school of your choice.

There is a minimum shipment size of 5 kg (approx. 550 used Ella's Kitchen® Pouches), which means you will only receive TerraCycle points if your shipment weighs more than 5 kg. You can send in up to 70 kg of EllaCycle Packaging using our standard pre-paid label. Remember, the bigger the packages the better as it is better for the environment if you send fewer larger parcels.

You can still send in lighter shipments for recycling, but you will not get any points for them.

You can download standard pre-paid An Post postage labels by following the instructions below:

  1. Sign into your account using your registered user name and password
  2. Go to Profile
  3. Scroll down to The EllaCycle® option
  4. Click on “GET SHIPPING LABEL” and choose the correct label to be sent to you on the next page – an image of your postage label will be emailed to you
  5. Select “print” in your file menu and print directly to your printer
  6. Attach the label to your box and drop it off at your local post office or post box.

Please note, if you don't have immediate access to a printer you can print your labels at a later time as the label is also emailed to you.

Please don't photocopy your mailing label. Each label you download has a unique barcode that can only be accepted by our system once and is how we credit your account for the money you raise for charity.

All postage costs are paid for by TerraCycle. The An Post postage labels we provide are prepaid and ready to use.

Sign into the TerraCycle website. Once you are signed in, click the Profile Tab and simply edit your account information. If you are having difficulties please contact [email protected] and a representative will be glad to assist you.

Signing up for EllaCycle is easy! You will need to provide a valid email address and mailing address.

We welcome anyone to sign up for EllaCycle. Why not get together with friends, your baby groups, nursery or school to collect as much as possible. You can download a poster to advertise the scheme at our RECOURCES section. Remember, together we can help eliminate waste and help save millions of packages from entering our landfills.

You can send in the following Ella's Kitchen packaging:

Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Baby Brekkie, pasta sauce and Smoothie Fruit pouches and the Bakey-Bakies and pack 'o' snack bags. You can also send in any other brand of baby food pouch.

You can redeem your points at any time towards a variety of charitable gifts or a cash donation (cheque) to any Irish or UK based non-profit or charitable organisation, including schools.

Please keep in mind that there is a minimum of 1,000 points or £10 needed for a cash donation. Cash donations are mailed directly to the charity, twice a year in June and December. All cash donations requested between 1st May and 31st October will be sent out in December. All cash donations requested between 1st November and 30th April will be sent out in June.
