The health and safety of our collectors and their communities is our greatest priority. In light of the growing concerns around Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are taking extra precautions to minimise the possible spread of illness among the TerraCycle network.
We are closely following the official advice given by the New Zealand Government and the World Health Organisation, and provide the following updates for our collection programs:
New Zealand Post has announced that while they will continue to provide essential delivery services, their retail outlets have now closed to help minimise any possible spread of illness 😷
Wwe encourage you to keep collecting at home and building your collections, and hold on to your collections until it's easier for you to send them to us.
You can also continue to send collections via your street post box if you wish (please remember to follow official government and WHO guidelines about social distancing).
We will continue to monitor the situation, and will keep you informed of any changes to mailing/warehouse operations as the situation progresses.
Check beforehand to confirm if the location is still open and accepting collections. This includes our volunteer-run Community Collection Hubs as well as retail collection locations.
