What is the TerraCycle Recycling Rewards program?
The TerraCycle Recycling Rewards programme is a point-based program in which TerraCyclers are rewarded for recycling in select free recycling programmes! Eligible shipments in participating programmes earn TerraCycle Recycling Rewards points which can be deemed as a donation to the school or charity of your choice! Our international community of TerraCyclers has raised thousands of dollars for amazing causes.
Anyone in New Zealand can participate in multiple select free recycling programmes at once to maximise their earnings, but please check the specific qualifications of each programmes on their respective programme pages. Please note, you must redeem a minimum of 3,500 TerraCycle points (or $35), or check out how you can support one of our highlighted charity partners below.
Please note that some programmes require shipments to be a minimum weight in order to receive TerraCycle points. Each individual shipment must meet the minimum weight requirement. If your shipment does not meet the weight minimum, you can still send it in for recycling, but you will not earn points. Please note that all shipments must fully comply with the requirements detailed on the TerraCycle webpage for each programme. Any shipment found to be non-compliant will be disqualified from earning points.

Please Note
We have two payment periods per year. If you redeem by the end of April, your charity will be paid in June. If you redeem by the end of October, your charity will be paid in January.
