Having a green thumb is great, but taking a green approach to the entire way you care for plants is the true power move. This includes a one-and-done attitude toward purchasing new supplies, like a sturdy watering can that lets you meet your little sprouts' hydration needs while making very little impact on the environment. One way to do that is to focus on watering cans made of biodegradable and/or recyclable stuff like ceramic, steel, and even post-consumer recycled materials.
