Yes, you can request as many shipping labels as necessary, although we do advocate you saving up your contacts and blister packs in order to send a larger shipment, which is more environmentally friendly. But as often as you need it, you can visit that same one-click shipping label, input your information and receive another shipping label in your inbox.
No, your shipment can be any size. However, larger shipments are usually more eco-friendly and reduce the environmental impact even further.
No, you do not need to clean the waste before sending it in to TerraCycle. Please note, UPS will not accept dripping packages, so make sure your waste is dry prior to shipping.
If you are an eye care professional, we encourage you to go to www.terracycle.com/bauschrecyclesinoffice to sign up for our recycling program. By signing up, you can download free shipping labels to send used contacts and blister packs for recycling. In addition, you will be listed as a drop off location for contact recycling – your office will be added to a locator map on www.terracycle.com/bauschrecycles which allows consumers to search their location to find an eye-care office that is collecting contacts and blister packs for recycling.
Consumers will not TerraCycle points through the Bausch + Lomb ONE by ONE Recycling Program. As a thank you for your dedication to Eliminating the Idea of Waste, for every qualifying shipment of 2 pounds or more, a $1/lb donation will be made to Optometry Giving Sight.
Optometry Giving Sight is a nonprofit working to prevent blindness and impaired vision for those who do not have access to eye exams and glasses/contacts. For more info, visit: http://www.givingsight.org
