Dial® has partnered with TerraCycle® to create a free recycling program for Dial® packaging components that cannot be recycled through traditional curbside recycling. Enrollment limits apply. If the program is full, you will be added to a waitlist.

How it works
Participating is simple and free.

Sign up for the program. If you don’t have a TerraCycle account yet, create one here!

Once in the program, start collecting Dial® packaging in any box you have.

When your collection box is full, log into your account to download and print a shipping label.

Seal up your collection box, affix the printed shipping label onto it. Send via UPS.
What you can recycle
Dial® Caps: The caps on Dial® body washes and hand soap refills.
Dial® Pumps: The pumps on Dial® hand soaps and body washes.
Dial® Concentrated Refill Packets: The packets from Dial® concentrated refill items.
Dial® Bar Packaging: The exterior plastic wrap from Dial® bar soap and the interior waxed bar soap wrapping from Dial® bar soap
NOTE: Please do not send in plastic bottles as they are widely accepted in curbside recycling programs.
Best practices for recycling
Recycle locally first – If the Dial® packaging is not listed above, check to see if you can recycle it at your local facility. For the items that are not recyclable locally, recycle them through this program.
Ship when your box is full - We encourage you to ship when your box is full of Dial® packaging to minimize the transportation carbon footprint for this program. You don’t need to clean the packaging before sending it to TerraCycle, but please remove as much of the remaining product as possible. UPS will not accept dripping packages, so please make sure your items are dry.
What happens to your recyclables
Once collected, the Dial® packaging is cleaned and melted into hard plastic that can be remolded to make new recycled products, such as park benches and picnic tables. Click here to learn more about the recycling process.
Rewards
Shipments in the Dial® Recycling Program can be any weight to earn points, and 100 points per pound will be awarded.
Awarded TerraCycle points can be allocated toward a variety of charitable gifts or redeemed as a payment of $0.01 per point to the non-profit organization or school of your choice. Each piece of Dial® packaging sent in will earn approximately 1 TerraCycle point and will be counted based on an average unit weight of .01 pounds.
