How it works
Spotlight Oral Care is on a mission for clinically proven, clean sustainable oral care that helps patients and doesn’t hurt the earth. So, Spotlight Oral Care has partnered with TerraCycle® to create a program for dental aligners! Dental aligners are made of plastic and can take hundreds of years to decay in landfills. And they are typically not recyclable in community programs.
We’ve made getting started with the Spotlight Oral Care Aligners Free Recycling Program easy! Find a participating dentist office near you and drop off your trash. An office administrator will send the trash to TerraCycle, and we’ll recycle it.

No, the Spotlight Oral Care Aligner Free Recycling Program accepts dental aligners and packaging from all brands.
No, you do not need to clean the packaging before dropping it off, but please do clean them a bit so they don’t smell!. Public drop-off locations will not accept dripping items, so make sure your items are dry.
