Use our interactive map below to find municipal/local (non-TerraCycle) recycling options. You can typically recycle Tide, Downy, Gain, and Dreft fabric care bottles and caps that have a #2 or #5 plastic identification symbol at these locations. As the information in this map is publicly sourced, we recommend contacting locations before visiting to ensure they are still accepting this type of waste for recycling. Please help us keep our information current by contacting email@example.com to recommend adding new locations and/or changes to current ones.
If no local (non-TerraCycle) recycling solution exists in your area for these items in the map below, you can include them in your shipments through TerraCycle’s Tide Free Recycling Program.
Please let us know if you find a location that is no longer active by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Did you know Tide bottles are made from used Tide bottles (and other packaging)? P&G has led efforts in the US to recycle colored plastics and developed a special three-layer bottle to deliver recycled content in their orange Tide bottles. They have been using 25%+ recycled resin on all of their North American detergent bottles for more than 25 years. Now, they are taking this commitment to the planet even further.
