Human Resources Associate

The Human Resources Associate is a new position that would report to the Global Director of Staff and Administration and work with employees and managers globally, to focus on HR as we prepare for the next chapter of growth. 

About the Company:

About the Opportunity:

TerraCycle employs 75 people in the Trenton Headquarters (only US office) and another 75 people across its international offices. The Human Resources Associate is a new position that would report to the Global Director of Staff and Administration and work with employees and managers globally, to focus on HR as we prepare for the next chapter of growth. Responsibilities:

  • Primary recruiter for all open hires (15 currently), preparing and posting ads, screening candidates and hiring all-stars across departments and country offices.
  • Recruit and run TerraCycle’s robust internship program  (50 interns in Summer across departments)
  • Assist in onboarding new employees
  • Manage visa, contracts, and HRIS admin
  • Create policies and resources for TerraCycle US and global employees
  • Improve connectivity and cohesiveness across all international offices
  • Manage TerraCycle brand and engagement on Glassdoor and LinkedIn
  • Administer management 360’s and oversee admin for performance development
  • Run surveys to gauge and improve employees’ life at work
  • Attend HR webinars and career fairs on behalf of the company
  • Coordinate with internal departments and international offices on special projects
  • Help develop world-class HR at one of the fastest growing green companies in the world!

Qualifications:

  • 1 – 3 years experience in HR
  • SHRM Certification a plus
  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • High emotional intelligence and strong intuition
  • Utmost sensitivity to confidential information
  • Top-notch research, writing and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to comfortably manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Experience with HRIS platforms preferred (we utilize Paycom)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft and Google suites

Compensation:

  • Salary commensurate with experience
