New Charity Approvals

Thank you for participating in TerraCycle’s points program! If you would like to redeem your TerraCycle points as a donation to a charity or a school that we are not already partnered with, you can submit the details for your organisation of choice through our website. Before adding a new charity, please search our existing charities to see if your organisation is already listed. 

Follow these steps to add your organisation:

• Click “Add new charity” below.
• Please fill out the new charity request form with your organisation’s ABN number and the address and contact information for the organisation you would like to add. 
• Please note, the address and phone number must be for the organisation you are fundraising for, not your home address or personal phone number.
• Click “Submit.”
• If your information is filled out incorrectly, your request may be rejected.

If the organisation you are submitting is a school, please provide an accurate contact person for the school. If you are submitting a charity, you must provide the Australian Business Number (ABN). You can find this on the charity’s website or by searching the organisation’s name on the ABN website or the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) charity register. 

To approve new charities, the TerraCycle team will review the information you have provided. If we need more information, we will ask you to contact the organisation to confirm its details. If we are unable to approve your charity, we will notify you. Until your charity is approved, you will not be able to redeem points for it. Once your charity is approved, you will be able to redeem your points for it as a cash donation.
