You have more power to protect our planet than you may think. Recycling can sometimes feel like an individual action, but when we all make an effort to recycle hard-to-recycle rubbish instead of sending it to landfills and incinerators, we can make a big difference. While we continue to work toward our goal of Eliminating the Idea of Waste® through our recycling solutions and the TerraCycle Foundation, there are lots of small, individual actions we can all take to make a big difference, like:

Why recycle with TerraCycle?
Recycling has many environmental benefits, like reducing the need to extract virgin materials from the planet, preventing rubbish from being landfilled or littered, and reusing valuable materials (like plastic). Plus, recycling with TerraCycle is proven to be better for the planet than landfilling or incinerating rubbish.Third-party-verified life cycle assessments (LCAs) show that our recycling models have a lower environmental impact than traditional solutions across eight major categories (including global warming).
Through an LCA of our rigid plastics recycling process, at a global level TerraCycle’s solutions were found to be 73% better for the planet than landfills and 67% better than waste-to-energy.
