How it works

We’ve made getting started with the BLACK+DECKER® Small Home Products and Appliances Free Recycling Program easy! Simply download a free shipping label to ship your BLACK+DECKER small home products and appliances to TerraCycle, and we’ll recycle them. Enrollment limits apply. If the program is full, you will be added to a waitlist.

Important note

This program does not collect lithium-ion batteries. If your item contains a removable battery, please use Call2Recycle to find a drop-off location near you.

Recycling products with non-removable lithium-ion batteries requires specific handling and shipping precautions. If you choose to participate in this program and have a product with a non-removable lithium-ion battery (ie: a cordless or rechargeable product), you are required to use the Limited Quantity label provided in the "Resources" section of this page or by clicking here.

Collect

Create a TerraCycle account and join this program. Then reuse any box you have to start collecting your BLACK+DECKER small home products and appliances.

Print Free Label

When your box is full, sign-in to your TerraCycle account to download and print a prepaid shipping label.

Ship

Follow the special shipping instructions in the important note above. Then seal your box, affix the prepaid shipping label, and send it to us to be recycled.

No, you do not need to clean the products before sending them in, but please remove as much debris as possible before shipping.
