Also known as the RightCycle® Programme by Kimberly-Clark Professional™
This programme is only designed for users of KCP Kimtech™ gloves in Pharmaceutical or Bioscience Manufacturing Companies, Research Facilities or Universities. Disposable gloves that are available through retail stores and are used in household cannot be collected in this recycling programme.
Collection is easy and simply requires that used gloves are collected separately from other materials before they are then sent to TerraCycle® for recycling. Please note participants in this programme are asked to arrange and pay for the transportation costs of the pallets from their facility to the nearest TerraCycle® warehouse. For more information, please consult the FAQ.
Any UK businesses interested in participating in the programme, should click the Register Interest button below and fill in the form. A KCP™ representative will contact you in due course.
Only Kimtech™ branded nitrile gloves are accepted. Disposable gloves of any other brand are not accepted by TerraCycle®. Furthermore, we cannot accept Kimtech™ gloves that are contaminated, according to the European-wide list of wastes Regulation (AVV) as they are considered dangerous and must be disposed of properly.

The gloves are initially stored by our logistics partner. When we’ve collected a sufficient amount of disposable gloves from all the different participating companies in the Kimtech™ Nitrile Glove Recycling Programme, we start with the recycling process. We try to recycle the disposable gloves as locally as possible and with the available and most up-to-date technologies and infrastructures. The nitrile gloves are processed using an extruder to produce plastic granules, which serves as a secondary raw material for new plastic products. Disposable gloves can be further processed in order to become the raw materials used to make the likes of park benches, waste bins, or watering cans.
