PR support for your public drop-off point

Raise awareness about recycling in your local media, grow your impact

Want to get more people to drop off their rubbish at your drop-off point so you can raise even more money for your school or charity? We can help!

Our PR team offers free support to highlight your recycling efforts in your local media and reach your community. Simply tell us about your efforts and upload a photo: we’ll do the rest.

What is PR support, and how can it help you?

When you take part in TerraCycle’s recycling programmes, you’re making a difference. With our Public Relations (PR) team’s support, we help you reach your local media, including local newspapers and radio stations. This will help raise awareness about your drop-off point and the impact you are having in your community.

Here’s how it works:

Contact our PR team

Once you fill out the form below and send us a media-friendly photo, our PR team will review and reach out to you if your story is a good fit!

They'll write your press release

They'll then write a press release about your public drop-off point, including who you are, what you collect, and which charity or school you're supporting.

Get covered in local media

Then we'll send it to relevant local journalists in your area. We've already helped hundreds of collectors across the UK to get local media coverage.

This can help attract more people to your public drop-off point to keep more waste out of landfills or incinerators. Plus, you could raise more for charity!
