How it works

We’ve made getting started with the Takis Free Recycling Program easy! Simply request a QR code or shipping label with FedEx, or download a shipping label via UPS to send your Takis snacks packaging to TerraCycle, and we’ll recycle it.

Collect

Create a TerraCycle account and join this program. Then reuse any box you have to start collecting your Takis snacks packaging.

Request a shipping label

When your box is full, sign in to your TerraCycle account and request a QR code or shipping label with FedEx, or download a shipping label via UPS.

Ship

Seal your box, remove old labels, and your chosen shipping carrier will send it to us to be recycled.

Yes, this free recycling program is brand-specific, which means you can only recycle the packaging of this particular brand.

Takis has sponsored this free recycling program, so there is no direct cost to you.

We encourage you to ship when your box is full of Takis snack packaging to minimize the transportation carbon footprint for this program. Shipping carriers will not accept dripping packages, so please make sure your items are dry.

No, you do not need to clean the packaging before dropping it off, but please remove as much of the remaining product as possible before shipping
