The Buffalo Bills announced more than 45 artists and art teams selected for the Buffalo Bills Public Art Program at Highmark Stadium presented by Victory Live. The program received 433 applications across national and local open calls for a signature Bison sculpture, ceiling artwork, wall-based art, and murals. TerraCycle's Industrial Design and Art team was selected to create custom upcycled work from hard-to-recycle materials including ocean-bound plastic, cigarette butts, and potato chip bags, raising awareness of the beauty in waste and the importance of recycling and reuse.

Music Go Round in Crestwood, Missouri hosted its annual Restring and Recycle event during Earth Month with TerraCycle and D’Addario, offering free instrument restringing in exchange for food donations while collecting used guitar strings for recycling. Because strings are made from specialized materials not accepted by local recycling systems, they are sent to TerraCycle where the metal and nylon are separated and turned into new materials.
