Yes, this national recycling program is brand-specific, which means you can only recycle the packaging of this particular brand. 

Febreze has sponsored this national recycling program, so there is no direct cost to you.

• Aerosols must be shipped through the Febreze Aerosol Free Recycling Program; labels from other TerraCycle programs must not be used to ship these items.
• Other products or packaging cannot be included in the box.
• Individual empty aerosol containers cannot exceed one (1) liter in volume.
• Aerosol containers must be empty and have lids, tops, or caps attached when shipped. Aerosols without lids will not be accepted.
• Aerosols must be shipped in strong, preferably double-walled, cardboard boxes. Boxes must be in good condition.
• The maximum weight of a single filled box is 15 pounds. The maximum box dimension is 24 inches x 24 inches x 18 inches.
• Boxes containing aerosols must have a “limited quantity marking” sticker included on the exterior of the shipping box along with the shipping label. This sticker can be downloaded by clicking here.

No, you do not need to clean the packaging before sending it in, but please remove as much of the remaining product as possible before shipping. Public drop-off locations will not accept dripping items, so make sure your items are dry.
