Please note that this programme is no longer accepting new participants. Please consult the map below to drop off your waste at an existing public drop-off location.

This map is constantly being updated

View all participating public drop-off locations on the interactive map above.

A public drop-off location is a communal collection point where the public can take their TerraCycle® waste for recycling. Each public drop-off location is listed on the interactive map above. When you drop off your waste at a public drop-off location, the TerraCycle® points earned for the waste are transferred to the account of the public drop-off location administrator in question, who can then donate the points to the charity of their choice.

Before you go to a public drop-off location with your waste, we advise you check the details (full address, opening hours and location of collection box at the site) and when a telephone number is listed it’s worth calling just to ensure the collection point is still active.

This map is updated when new public drop-off locations are added or removed, so we recommend you consult it in advance of each time you plan to drop off your waste.

If you are an existing member in this programme and you are interested in setting up a public drop-off location for your community, please fill out this form.
You don't have to become a public drop-off location to send us your waste. You can become a private collector simply by joining The Pringles® Can Recycling Programme.

How it works

Use a public drop-off location near you

Find your nearest public drop-off locations on the map above.

These are communal collection points, where anyone can take their used Pringles® cans for recycling. Remember, these sites are run on a voluntary basis and the map is regularly updated, so before each visit, we recommend that you check with the site that it is open.

Also, don’t forget the drop-off location volunteer could earn TerraCycle® points for local good causes every time you drop-off your Pringles® cans.

Set up a public drop-off location

Please note this only applies to members participating in the recycling programme.

We want to make this programme available to as many households as possible – while ensuring we minimise its environmental impact – so we’re asking people who don’t have a public drop-off location nearby to set one up.

Why not get involved today and earn even more TerraCycle® points for the local good cause of your choice? Almost anywhere can be set-up as a public collection point, including shops, supermarkets, community centres and schools etc. Simply register the site by filling in this application form.

What you can recycle in this programme

What happens to the waste

Once collected, the aggregated Pringles® tubes and plastic lids are sorted, shredded and washed. The material is then densified into hard-granulated plastic granules. The granules are then extruded so they can be incorporated into the production of different plastic products such as fence posts and benches.
