What are the best practices for shipping my recycling to TerraCycle?

Aerosols must be in their own box; do not include other products or packaging. Individual aerosol containers cannot exceed one (1) liter in volume. Aerosol containers must be empty and have lids, tops, or caps attached when shipped. Aerosols without lids will not be accepted. Aerosols must be shipped in strong, preferably double-walled cardboard boxes. Boxes must be in good condition. The maximum weight of a single filled box is 15 pounds. The maximum box dimensions are 24 inches x 24 inches x 18 inches. Boxes containing aerosols must have a “Limited quantity marking” label included on the exterior of the shipping box along with the shipping label. This label can be downloaded by clicking here. UPS will not accept dripping packages, so please make sure your items are dry.

Create a TerraCycle account and join this program. Then reuse any box you have to start collecting your amika aerosol spray cans.

Print Free Label

When your box is full, sign in to your TerraCycle account to download and print a prepaid shipping label. Boxes containing aerosols must also have a “Limited quantity marking” label included on the exterior of the shipping box.

Ship

Seal your box, affix the prepaid shipping label and "Limited quantity marking" label, and send it to us to be recycled.
