What you can recycle

All Dunkin’ branded flexible ground and whole bean coffee bags. Not limited to below flavors.

NOTE: Dunkin’ shop food waste (food wrappers, donut boxes, etc.) are not included as a part of the program. Dunkin' branded flexible ground and whole bean coffee bags should not be returned or brought into Dunkin’ shops or retailers.

Best practices for recycling

We encourage you to ship when your box is full of Dunkin’ branded flexible ground coffee bags to minimize the transportation carbon footprint for this program. You don’t need to clean the packaging before sending it to TerraCycle, but please remove as much of the remaining product as possible. UPS will not accept dripping packages, so please make sure your items are dry.

What happens to your recyclables

Once collected, the coffee bags are cleaned and melted into hard plastic that can be remolded to make new recycled products, such as park benches and picnic tables. Click here to learn more about the recycling process.

Shipments in the Dunkin' Ground Coffee Bag Recycling Program can be any weight to earn points, and 100 points per pound will be awarded.

Awarded TerraCycle points can be allocated toward a variety of charitable gifts or redeemed as a payment of $0.01 per point to the non-profit organization or school of your choice. Each bag sent in will earn approximately 3.4 TerraCycle points and will be counted based on an average unit weight of .034 pounds.
